What LocuPedia is — and is not

LocuPedia is a connection, credentialing and workforce marketplace: you publish coverage needs, verified clinicians apply, and the two of you agree terms directly. LocuPedia is not an employer, not a staffing agency, and not a party to the working relationship. It does not process, collect, hold, transfer, invoice, settle or guarantee compensation between clinicians and organizations — compensation is entirely between you and the clinician.

Posting

Every post must describe a real coverage need at a real facility: accurate role, dates, requirements and an honest offered rate, which is required and shown to clinicians upfront. One post covers one location, one role and one connected coverage requirement for a 7-day posting period.

Posts never renew automatically. You may edit, pause or close a post at any time; closing ends the posting period.

Fees

Launch period: posting is free — the full workflow, no card required.

Standard pricing after launch: CAD 300 per 7-day posting period, plus applicable taxes itemized separately on your receipt. We notify organizations in advance before standard pricing activates; the first paid period only ever begins with your explicit action. Prepaid periods are not refunded for unused days once standard pricing is active.

Volume pricing is available to high-volume organizations and is always calculated per 7-day period — never as a subscription.

Posting Credits

Posting Credits reward community growth: +50 credits when an organization you refer verifies and posts its first legitimate live need (professionals you refer earn their referrer +20 after licence verification). 100 credits redeem for one CAD 300 seven-day posting period. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable between organizations, and can’t be earned through self-referrals or abuse — we audit, and abuse voids the credits.

Verification and reliance

We verify clinician credentials against source and show you the resulting status. You remain responsible for your own hiring decisions and for confirming any facility-specific requirements before work begins. Close-out outcomes you record are your organization’s own statement; figures derived from them are labelled self-reported.

Conduct

The usage policy is part of these terms. LocuPedia has zero tolerance for misuse or inappropriate behaviour — including harassment, flirting, racism or discrimination of any kind — and any behaviour that doesn’t align with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions will cause the account to be suspended immediately, without further notice.

Liability and term

The platform is provided with the care you’d expect from people who work in healthcare, but hiring outcomes are yours — we introduce, we verify, we record; we don’t employ. Either side may close the account at any time; we may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with zero-tolerance breaches taking effect immediately.
