Keyboard-first
Full keyboard navigation with visible focus states and managed focus on route changes. Every control is reachable and operable without a pointer.
Accessibility
LocuPedia is built to WCAG 2.2 AA. The commitments below are product requirements — a feature that breaks one of them does not ship.
Full keyboard navigation with visible focus states and managed focus on route changes. Every control is reachable and operable without a pointer.
Reduced-motion variants for every animation and interactive explainer. Interactive walkthroughs ship with complete static end states, so all content is available when JavaScript is unavailable.
Colour is never the only way status is communicated — every status carries a label or icon alongside it.
Plain-language copy, semantic headings, labelled form fields with error identification, and contrast that meets WCAG 2.2 AA.
